Ohio "Good Funds" Law to be Effective April 6, 2017
By: rbhWith the passage of legislation in Ohio and Governor Kasich's signature, Ohio's "good funds" law will change on April 6, 2017. Any monies deposited with an escrow agent in excess of $1,000.00 must be in the form of "immediately available funds". In this case, the statute refers to wire transfers.
